La Quinta is also known for its thriving arts scene. The La Quinta Arts Festival was produced in partnership with the La Quinta Arts Foundation and the City of La Quinta until 2019. This festival was named the #1 Fine Arts Show by the prestigious Art Fair Sourcebook. The La Quinta Art Celebration now takes center stage as the city’s featured arts festival, which is put on by the City of La Quinta and features juried artists, live music, food, and tons more to enjoy. Keeping the arts celebration going in select months, Art on Main Street replaced the highly popular Art Under the Umbrellas series and offers creative works of all varieties and mediums set in scenic Old Town La Quinta.
