As co-owner of two family engineering firms, and manager/treasurer of one of the firms, Shirley gained experience in all forms of preparing land for development, including curbs and gutters, bridges, sidewalks, etc. After years of this type of construction, she went to work for a real estate development firm that constructed condominium projects. During this time, she had the opportunity to spend time in the field, supervising the construction of a 22 unit condominium development in Long Beach, CA. Upon completion of the project, the owners asked Shirley to obtain her real estate license in order to sell the development while they were preparing for the next project, which she was again asked to manage. Shirley immediately found her love in the selling of the development. When she completed the sales, she chose to stay in the field, and after thirty six years, still finds her sense of satisfaction in that area. Shirley has earned and been the recipient of many awards in real estate over the years and she consistently ranks in the top 5% of producers nationally. Her greatest sense of accomplishment, though, is based on her clients happiness at the end of the transaction, and the many letters she has received over the years thanking her for her professionalism, honesty and integrity. Shirley feels real estate is a personal service business. She advises clients that they are not just hiring a company, but a person. She believes they should expect knowledge and skill from the realtor they are hiring in the areas of financing, contracts, negotiation, and marketing. The Realtor should have a proven track record of producing results. Transactions should be handled by a professional who accepts nothing less than excellence. Shirley promises results for you and direct communication along the way. She invites you to call her to explore how she may
