Don brings 15+ years of real estate sales in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia market, and over 25 years financial experience in the secondary mortgage industry to Bennion Deville Homes. Prior to retiring from the Federal Housing Finance Agency, he was Senior Manager of Policy Communications at Freddie Mac, and Senior Policy Analyst at Fannie Mae. During those years he focused on housing issues and how technology can be used to expedite the mortgage process. In addition, his MBA thesis was a development plan for revitalizing American "downtowns." After spending a lifetime on the east coast, Don moved to south Palm Springs in 2020. Prior to his career in housing, Don was a professional performer on Broadway and in Opera performing with the Cincinnati Opera, the Washington Opera, the Washington Summer Opera Theatre, the Washington Savoyards, the Victorian Lyric Opera, the Little Theatre of Alexandria, the Montgomery Symphony and as tenor soloist in various churches. He is an avid supporter of the arts, and a pet lover. Don is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), and Actors' Equity (AEA). Outside Interests include Architectural and Interior Design and a Pet devotee.
