Charles Dan Woodworth was raised in Coronado and graduated from Coronado High School. Upon graduation he moved to Encinitas in 1974. He attended Palomar College from 1974 to 1976. He transferred to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Co. While attending college in Durango, he built a few spec houses. He returned to Encinitas in 1978 and continued to build both spec and custom homes. He became a licensed general contractor in 1979 at the age of 25. His contractor’s license remains active. Dan developed and built the high end, $9,000,000, Beach Rock development in Leucadia as his last major project. Dan received his real estate license in 1983. In 1995, he worked in commercial real estate. He was the broker responsible for Palomar College establishing their Escondido campus and did transactions with UCSD as well. He was also involved in the leasing and sales of both retail shopping centers and industrial buildings. He received his broker’s license in 2010. After taking some time off and traveling, he began to look for a good company to hang his license with as an Associate Broker. He looked at many local real estate firms and settled on Bennion Deville Homes as being a very good and growing company. He works out of the company’s Carlsbad office pleasantly and conveniently located in the Carlsbad Village Faire. Dan is excited and anxious to meet you and assist any of your real estate needs.
