Hilary Christiansen is an Associate Broker whose interest in real estate was sparked by personal real estate transactions. She possesses a Green designation through the National Association of Realtors and can help her clients achieve a healthier, more comfortable home, understand green and energy upgrade opportunities that can lower utility bills and maintenance costs, access available rebates and financing, as well as increase their home's value. Additionally, she has a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification. A graduate of New York's Sarah Lawrence College, Hilary has worked at the German-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles and IBM in Berlin. She spent her junior year of college in Munich and continued her Russian studies at UC Santa Cruz. Hilary loves to write and served on the Palm Springs Writers Guild board of directors for two seasons. She is also involved in the Girlfriend Factor, a local non-profit organization that provides renewable educational grants and emotional support to adult women who choose to improve their position in life through higher education and occupational training. Her hobbies include playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with her family. Having relocated from Lake Arrowhead to Palm Desert in 2002, Hilary is eager to share her affinity for her desert community and help others achieve their own real estate goals.
